Apple Pecan Crisp is so easy to make and the perfect fall dessert!  Crisp and tender apples with crunchy pecans hidden throughout and a buttery cinnamon sugar crumb topping!


An apple crunchy isn't everlasting without a big containerful of flavoring ice ointment.  How it fair melts into the hot apple kinky and adds a creamy texture to apiece feeding.  Wow.  I am already craving more!

APPLE PECAN CRISP RECIPE
Apple Pecan Crisp is so easy to make and the perfect fall dessert! Crisp and tender apples with crunchy pecans hidden throughout and a buttery cinnamon sugar crumb topping!



INGREDIENTS

  • 6 Cups Granny Smith Apples, sliced
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ⅓ cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • ½ teaspoon ginger
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, divided

Crisp Topping:

  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup old fashioned oats
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup butter, chopped into pieces

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 9x13 inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl whisk together sugar, flour, cinnamon, ginger and ½ cup pecans. Add the apples and coat. Add the lemon juice and toss until coated. Spread apples evenly in the dish.
  3. To make the crumb topping: In a medium sized bowl mix flour, sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg into the bowl. Add the butter and using a pastry blender or fork mix until coarse crumbs form. Stir in ½ cup pecans. Sprinkle on top of apples.
  4. Bake for 40 minutes or until apples are tender and top is lightly brown.
